NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DJ Jon Quick of NYC's 94.7 The Block, will host the "DJ Jon Quick's 12th Annual Heroines of Excellence Awards" on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM at Serafina, 400 West 42nd Street, New York.
The Annual Heroines of Excellence Awards honors women who are leaders in their industries and through their own initiatives. Legendary actress Vanessa Williams ("Soul Food", "New Jack City") will be presented the "Iconic Sister Award." Additional honorees are Bobbi Baker, Erika Liles, Dr. Kordai, Mfoniso Akpan, Tara Enahoro, Esq., who will receive the International Heroine Award; Heather Palmore, Esq.; Shawntee White-Yates, Dana Wilson, Aria Wright and Dr. Adjoa Smalls-Mantey, who will receive the Superheroine Award.
