WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--stackArmor, an Amazon Web Services Partner Network (APN) Advanced Tier Services Partner, announced today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency in the Perimeter Protection category. This designation recognizes that stackArmor has demonstrated proven technology that helps customers achieve their cloud security goals. In addition to the newly launched Perimeter Protection category, stackArmor also has expertise in cloud security posture management (CSPM), cloud workload protection platforms (CWPP), attack surface, and container security for the compliance and privacy use cases.
stackArmor also announced it has achieved AWS Level 1 Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Competency status. This designation recognizes that stackArmor has successfully met both AWS’s Level 1 Managed Security Services baseline requirements and additional technical and operational requirements for providing customers with a deep level of Data Privacy Event Management, Digital Forensics Incident Response, Identity Behavior Monitoring, Managed Application Security Testing or Modern Compute security services uniquely designed for AWS environments.
AWS launched the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency to enable customers to easily acquire ongoing security monitoring and management, validated by AWS. AWS security experts annually validate the tools used and operational processes of each MSSP address specific cloud security challenges such as continuous event monitoring, triaging, AWS service configuration best practices, and 24/7 incident response. The AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency provides a faster and easier experience for customers to select the right MSSP to help them achieve their goals for business risk and cloud strategy confidence.
Achieving both, AWS Security and AWS Level 1 MSSP competencies differentiates stackArmor as an MSSP and AWS Partner that provides specialized consulting services designed to help companies from startups and mid-sized businesses to the largest global enterprises to adopt, develop and deploy complex security projects on AWS with essential 24/7 managed cloud security skillsets. To receive the designation, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.
“We are excited to be one of the first to achieve AWS Security Competency status and continue to showcase our expertise in FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, and CMMC compliance for our customers on AWS,” said Gaurav “GP” Pal, Principal at stackArmor. “Our team of certified cloud security and compliance engineers have over a decade of experience on AWS as well as third-party security services that deliver highly secure workloads for customers in regulated markets.”
