MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SRM (Strategic Resource Management), an independent advisory firm serving financial institutions and other industries across North America and Europe, today announces that Marion King has joined its International Advisory Board.
King’s 25 years of experience and leadership roles at Mastercard, Vocalink, and Reuters, as well as several other non-executive director positions, will help SRM and its European arm, SRM Europe, better serve financial institutions across the globe.
Most recently, King was responsible for delivering payments strategy and overseeing payments architecture, operations, and innovation at NatWest Group, a leading financial institution in the UK. In addition to her new role with the SRM International Advisory Board, King serves as chair of the advisory board of the Payments Association. In 2018, she joined the Multiple Sclerosis Society as a board trustee to support awareness and education for this important cause.
SRM Chief Executive Officer Brad Downs noted: “This year, SRM is celebrating our 30th anniversary. We strive to be the global leader in our space, and adding a proven leader like Marion to our board will allow us to continue and expand our mission. We’re thrilled to add her perspective to our strategic growth plan.”
SRM specializes in identifying previously undiscovered opportunities for growth or savings, aligning expenses with industry benchmarks, and fostering supplier partnerships with a focus on quality and long-term stability. And the firm’s advisory services span payments, operations, technology, and the ever-evolving digital assets space.
Neil Whittaker, SRM’s Chief Executive in Europe, shared this about the addition of Marion King: “Marion’s expert understanding of the payments space and the transformation challenges of the financial sector will be a huge asset to SRM Europe as we expand our services in the UK and beyond. Her counsel and collaborative approach are a huge addition to the SRM family.”
“I’m delighted to join the advisory board at SRM,” said King. “I look forward to working closely with other bright minds to expand the firm’s footprint and ability to serve clients at the highest level.”
The addition of King to SRM’s International Advisory Board follows other recent influential enhancements to an already strong group, including Manolo Sanchez, former CEO of BBVA Compass; Steven VanBelleghem, renowned customer experience innovator; Reed Deupree, public markets and private equity investing expert; David Bailey, M & A specialist and financial services consultant; Stan Viner, longtime financial services sales professional and fintech advisor; Robert Messer, community banking CFO; Hans Winterhoff, innovation consulting leader; and Michael Väth, renowned enterprise technology expert and startup advisor.
