TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elevated Facility Services Group (EFS), one of the largest independent providers of elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Biskaduros as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. After a fulsome search led by Wiser Partners and Tim Shea, with close oversight by the Board of Directors, EFS is certain that Matt’s decades of industry experience and commitment to employees and customers make him the perfect fit for the Company moving forward. Biskaduros will assume the position of CEO in September 2022, following interim CEO Tim Shea, who will remain an integral member of the management team as Chairman, supporting the transition and continuing his commitment to furthering EFS’s safety-focused reputation as the preferred, independent non-union, elevator service and maintenance partner. As CEO, Biskaduros will help lead a growing, skilled and dedicated elevator technician base that currently covers 58 markets across 24 states.
Biskaduros comes to EFS with more than three decades of elevator industry expertise, including his most recent role as Vice President of Service & Modernization for TK Elevator Asia Pacific, overseeing its $700 million+ Service & Modernization businesses. Prior to his time at TK Elevator, Matt spent an impressive 28 years with the globally recognized Schindler Group, where he held management and executive roles leading teams in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Additionally, Biskaduros has worked in engineering and sales roles at Trodella Elevator and Stanley Elevator, respectively. Biskaduros brings with him a significant track record of success – notably, driving growth and improved profitability in roles both in North America as well as Globally.

Based out of EFS headquarters in Tampa, FL, Biskaduros will be charged with leading the company through its continued organic growth following the recent completion of strategic acquisitions, including the merger of EMR Elevator, Oracle Elevator, Premier Elevator, and Premier Oracle Elevator to form the parent company Elevated Facility Services Group. Biskaduros will be focused on continuing EFS’s reputation as the industry acquiror of choice for founders and owners who share EFS’s core values of safety and customer dedication, targeting both new and existing markets to further consolidate the highly fragmented elevator and escalator market.
As principal architect of EFS’s business strategy, Biskaduros will utilize his vast expertise and knowledge of the industry to make strategic decisions on growing the business, from acquisitions, enhancing IT systems, and staffing and training, to exploring new service offerings and optimizing the company’s safety programs.
Biskaduros earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Plymouth University in Plymouth, NH. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Christine and their family, as well as hiking, football, frisbee and other outdoor activities.
