University of Phoenix Launches Alumni Chronicles to Showcase Alumni Achievements

Blog features profiles and achievements of University alumni across industries and life pursuits

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--University of Phoenix has launched a new blog category, Alumni Chronicles, dedicated to telling the stories of University alumni and their achievements, passions, and life pursuits. With more than one million alumni and active state and regional alumni chapters across the country, the University of Phoenix Alumni Chronicles seeks to highlight how individual University alumni are succeeding and contributing within their communities.

“From students who have overcome tremendous adversity to graduates who are game changers in their industries, University of Phoenix alumni come from all walks of life to achieve great things,” states John Woods, Ph.D., provost and chief academic officer. “We are proud of our alumni, of their individual progress, and what they contribute to their communities and their workplaces. They are an enormous source of pride and inspiration for our current students, as well as our faculty and staff. Alumni Chronicles offers a place where more individuals can be inspired and engaged with their alumni network and community.”

Housed on the University’s blog, Alumni Chronicles publishes one to four alumni profiles each month with different categories such as “After UOPX,” which features alumni who have attained extraordinary levels of professional success, and “Against the Odds,” which spotlights alumni who have overcome great adversity to achieve their goals.

The blog now features more than 30 alumni working across industries in positions as diverse as space telecommunications, learning and development, human resources, motivational speaking, and city government.

Having been well received, Alumni Chronicles began as a soft launch in November 2021 and has expanded since then. The Alumni Chronicles Magazine will debut in October 2022 as both a digital and print publication that will build on the concept of the Alumni Chronicles blog. In addition to profiles of trailblazers, magazine content will include career insights and information, inspiring stories and the latest University news and research.

Readers can also look forward to a new Alumni Chronicles video series centered on alumni who are following their dreams across the country. Those episodes are due out this winter.

University of Phoenix provides lifetime Alumni Resources including continued career support, discounts on professional development and everyday purchases, networking, and ways to stay involved. Alumni also benefit from the University of Phoenix Career Services for Life® commitment, which provides resources for career planning, advising, resumé building, interview prep, and networking.
