NEW YORK & SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Inc. magazine today revealed that doxo is number 3,352 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The innovative web and mobile bill pay service helps empower consumers to improve their financial health by offering secure, all-in-one bill payment to any provider, with any payment method, on any device.
Each year U.S. households spend over $4.6 trillion - about one third of all consumer spending - on recurring bill payments. While staying on top of these bills is the single largest determinant for consumer financial health, organizing and paying them can be a time-consuming and frustrating chore. Since its inception, doxo has been on a mission to simplify and reduce the anxiety of staying on top of bills, empowering consumers to improve their financial health.
“doxo is proud to be recognized as one of Inc. 5000’s fastest growing private companies again in 2022,” said co-founder and CEO, Steve Shivers. “We’ve seen incredible adoption from product innovations like offering free bill pay for consumers and through our doxoINSIGHTS reports that provide a more transparent look at household financial health and spending activity across the country. These efforts underscore our commitment to simplify payments, expand innovation, and cut costs for consumers and providers across the country. Plus, in this uncertain economic environment, doxo’s simple, secure all-in-one bill pay greatly helps consumers reduce stress and keeps them on a path toward financial health.”
To date, over seven million doxo users across 97% of U.S. zip codes have paid bills through doxo’s payment network, across more than 45 different service categories. With more than 120,000 payable billers, doxo’s proprietary, crowd sourced provider directory is uniquely representative of how all consumers pay their bills no matter where they live. doxo currently has more than 100 employees and is expanding its team to further accelerate growth and change the bill pay landscape forever.
Inc.’s list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000 list.
The companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 have not only been successful, but have also demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of Covid-19. Among the top 500, the average median three-year revenue growth rate soared to 2,144 percent. Together, those companies added more than 68,394 jobs over the past three years. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine, which will be available on August 23.
“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
