HOBOKEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Semperis, a pioneer of identity-driven cyber resilience for enterprises, today announced it ranked No. 186 on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Semperis is among the top five fastest-growing cybersecurity companies for the second consecutive year, with three-year revenue growth of over 2,800%. The company attributes its hypergrowth to high market demand for comprehensive identity threat detection and response for hybrid Active Directory environments.
"We're honored to be recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity companies in America for the second year in a row," said Semperis CEO, Mickey Bresman. “I'd like to thank everyone at Semperis for being a force for good against cyber evil-doers, and, of course, our partners and customers for their unwavering confidence in our mission, people, and tech. Semperis is proud to be the only identity threat detection and response vendor offering comprehensive protection for hybrid Active Directory before, during, and after an attack, combined with unmatched incident response expertise."
Gartner recently published Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) as a top cybersecurity trend for 2022, noting that credential misuse is a primary method attackers use to access systems and achieve their goals. Identity systems such as AD and Azure AD, used in over 90% of enterprises, are frequently targeted by attackers and notoriously difficult to secure due to various complexities. With its multi-layered defense approach before, during, and after an attack, Semperis offers the industry's most comprehensive protection for hybrid AD environments, including AD-specific ransomware recovery and post-breach forensics capabilities.
“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
Semperis' Inc. 5000 recognition comes on the heels of a $200M+ growth investment led by KKR. The recent funding will help Semperis accelerate hiring across all functions globally to better support its expanding customer base, with an emphasis on its identity-focused incident response team.

More about Inc. and the Inc. 5000
Methodology
Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
