SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Business media brand Inc. revealed today that Aircover Communications is an honoree on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Debuting at number 2288, this is one of the most prestigious business distinctions for the private, corporate communications firm in its 5-year history.
Aircover prioritizes the art of storytelling and the development of creative communications strategies in partnership with its clients. With a smart story and strategy in-hand, Aircover’s team of world-class writers and media relations experts deliver outstanding results. The company’s client mix includes smaller companies such as Airship, Chainlink, Fivetran, Skydio and Veza to public companies that include Bill.com, Samsara, and Verra Mobility.
“Creating, building and growing a company over the past few years has been both exhilarating and challenging,” said Mike Moeller, founder and CEO at Aircover. “At Aircover, we pride ourselves in delivering exceptional thinking to our clients, and more importantly – we never confuse activity with results. Our goal is to deliver the stories that set our clients apart. Being on the Inc. 5000 list is a testament to the hard work the team and I have achieved to create something truly special over these past few years.”
The list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
The companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 have not only been successful, but also have demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of COVID-19.
“The accomplishment of building one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., in light of recent economic roadblocks, cannot be overstated,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that have established themselves through innovation, hard work, and rising to the challenges of today.”
“Aircover’s team consists of former agency leaders and chief communications officers who’ve walked in the shoes of our clients,” added Moeller. “Our ability to fully understand their pain points and business dilemmas gives us a competitive edge, understanding the results they need. It feels really good to have Inc. recognize our success.”

The Inc. 5000 Methodology
Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
