Somalytics Readies for Growth, Signs Lease for Headquarters in Seattle

Nanotechnology start-up prepares to launch mass manufacturing of unique sensors

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A rising star in the Seattle tech scene, nanotechnology innovator Somalytics Inc., announced today it has signed a lease for a new office in Redmond, which will be its global headquarters and manufacturing facility for producing the world’s smallest nano-based capacitive sensor. The company’s new address is 2525 152^nd Ave. NE, Redmond, Washington 98052.

The patent-pending carbon-nanotube paper composite (CPC™) capacitive sensors, which can ‘feel’ human presence, will revolutionize human-machine interfaces, wellness monitoring and safety applications. Since spinning out of the University of Washington in November 2021, with support from hard science investment firm IP Group Inc., Somalytics has quickly gained national recognition for its innovative technology.
