Union Home Mortgage Recognized as Top Ten Lender for USDA Rural Development Program

Propelled by four top-five finishes in 2021 state rankings, company claims No. 9 spot on national list

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio--()--Union Home Mortgage (UHM) ranked ninth nationally in terms of loan volume for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development’s Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program for 2021, improving one spot from its 2020 finish. The 100% financing program helps lenders collaborate with eligible households living in rural areas to make homeownership a reality.

“This recognition further solidifies our position as a leading lender of USDA programs within our footprint,” said Mike Jones, UHM’s National Sales Manager. “Our business was founded on the belief that homeownership should be accessible to all, and our locally based UHM Partners are driven to help their neighbors select the best solution for their unique needs and aspirations.”

The national ranking comes on the heels of UHM garnering top-five finishes in four Midwestern states in the same USDA Rural Development loan program category. The company topped the state rankings in Ohio and Pennsylvania, while placing fourth in Michigan and fifth in West Virginia.

The USDA Rural Development Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program provides eligible applicants mortgage options that require no money down when purchasing a primary residence. Additional program details are available from the USDA.
