Chapman Partnership Announces Peter Pruitt as Interim President

MIAMI--()--Chapman Partnership announced today that executive board member, Peter T. Pruitt will assume the role of Interim President for the organization. Pruitt will be replacing Symeria T. Hudson, who recently stepped down from her position as President and CEO. Symeria and will be transitioning to a new role at the United Way Miami. Pruitt has been a long-time supporter of Chapman Partnership, serving as board member since 2011 and Executive Chair from 2018 to 2021.

Chapman Partnership is an incredible organization that is very close to my heart, so I am honored and excited to step into this role of interim president. Symeria leaves Chapman Partnership in a very strong position and I look forward to continuing the organizations growth,” said Peter T. Pruitt.

As a past board and executive committee member of United Way Miami, I know that Symeria will continue to bridge collaboration between both organizations. Peter has been an instrumental supporter of Chapman Partnership and I look forward to working with him in our goal towards ending homelessness in our county,” said Edward J. Joyce, Chairman of the Board, Chapman Partnership.

It was an honor for me to transition from the private sector into the non-for-profit arena by leading the efforts at Chapman Partnership. This organization will always be close to my heart and I am excited to continue working alongside Chapman on solving some of the critical issues facing the community at large,” said Symeria T. Hudson.

Hudson joined Chapman Partnership in January of 2019. Her business acumen and dedication to helping the homeless culminated in great achievements for the organization, including the creation of the workforce trades program, and the Social Enterprise Academy (SEA). The organization sincerely thanks her for her contributions and leadership during her tenure.
