Designed in-house by Convene, 101 Park Avenue offers 20,000 square feet of meeting and events space, and rejoins Convene’s global portfolio of 26 spaces in the U.S. and London. Convene also recently announced that all SaksWorks locations will be managed by Convene, as part of its recapitalization deal led by HBC and Ares.
Convene’s approach to design is human-centered. Taking cues from the surrounding neighborhood, traditionally filled with prominent high-end residences famous for their pre-war design 101 Park Avenue features a generous, open layout, grand proportions, and traditional detailing. During the renovation process, Convene added decorative lighting elements, Venetian plaster, as well as other furniture and fixtures to emulate an updated yet traditional townhouse aesthetic. Furthermore, 101 Park Avenue features bright, vibrant floral patterns and neon color accents juxtaposing more refined, traditional details found in a New York City townhouse.
The over 20,000 square foot space is built specifically to incorporate flexible hybrid and in-person meetings and events, and can accommodate up to 200 guests depending on the chosen space. With unlimited top-flight snacks, freshly brewed coffee and tea, and curated seasonal menus incorporating the best local ingredients, 101 Park Avenue will offer a culinary experience to rival the best restaurants in the surrounding area.

The reintroduction of 101 Park Avenue comes just months after Convene opened its first international location at 22 Bishopsgate in London, reopened its members-only coworking space in Manhattan, Club 75, and also completed a recapitalization plan led by HBC. The strategic investment by HBC and Ares Management combined Convene with three existing (and all future) SaksWorks coworking locations, expanding Convene’s footprint to additional urban and suburban areas.
Furthermore, Convene recently collaborated with Epistemix, the computational modeling company that forecasts the spread of COVID-19, to determine that attending a meeting or event at Convene is safer than shopping in a grocery store, taking the train, going to the movies, bar or restaurant.
