Rykä Releases XpectFit⁠—Its First-Ever Sneaker Collection Designed for Pregnancy and Beyond

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rykä, the first company to make athletic shoes designed specifically for women, announces its first-ever collection of performance maternity shoes. The XpectFit collection extends Rykä’s women-centric focus to expectant mothers.

The XpectFit collection provides pregnant women with workout sneakers featuring a wider forefoot perfect for swollen feet and a narrower heel for a more secure fit. Easy on and off styling, a massaging OrthoLite® insole that promotes circulation, and stretchy, breathable materials all provide comfort during pregnancy and beyond. All XpectFit styles are machine-washable.

Comprised of three styles, the Rykä XpectFit offers training (the Lovable), walking (the Love Life) and casual (the Laid Back) sneakers, thoughtfully designed for women, by women (who have been there). The performance materials built into the shoe enable her to continue doing the activities she loves throughout her pregnancy. Each shoe features Rykä’s proprietary full-length RE-ZORB® LITE insert for exceptional impact protection and shock absorption. An internal fused support sleeve promotes lateral stability, and a sticky rubber outsole offers traction and durability.

The name XpectFit comes from the idea that expecting mothers deserve, and should expect, shoes with a great fit. The Rykä brand is dedicated to developing products for the needs of women, and this collection is meant to further deliver on that promise.
