SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transposit, the company that delivers connected workflow for DevOps, today announced that Bojan (Boki) Beran joined as VP of Engineering. Boki most recently spent five years at ServiceNow, where he reported to the SVP of platform engineering and helped define the platform strategy for the company. At Transposit, he will leverage his domain knowledge in process automation and enterprise technology to lead product direction, oversee the engineering and operations teams, and grow Transposit’s engineering team with top talent.
“Transposit’s platform is designed to simplify operations and increase service reliability at a time when digital transformation is putting tremendous pressure on enterprise teams responsible for running applications,” said Divanny Lamas, CEO at Transposit. “Boki’s extensive background in process automation and low-code/no-code platforms brings unmatched value to our engineering organization as we scale our platform’s capabilities to serve those teams. His leadership and hands-on development experience building world-class products and engineering orgs will be instrumental in attracting the best engineering talent to double down on competitive product differentiation.”
Boki brings more than 10 years of experience in platform engineering and web development to Transposit. After emigrating to the United States from what is now Bosnia in the 1990s, he developed a passion for web design and engineering. He spent a decade working at the San Diego Supercomputer Center for the Protein Data Bank project as a system administrator and then led front end engineering after graduating with an electrical engineering degree. Boki was subsequently hired as the lead front engineer at Piksel Inc. (originally IOKO) and became the technical lead as a developer and liaison between the user experience and development teams. Soon after, he joined Intuit as a web UI architect, paving the way to develop Fuego, Intuit’s semantic UI framework that powers TurboTax Online and many other offerings. He also spent time as an open platform architect before joining ServiceNow in 2018.
“I see opportunities for massive growth for Transposit in both product adoption and the company’s ability to differentiate itself from competitors,” Boki said. “I’ve joined an incredibly innovative team. The platform’s novel human-in-the-loop approach to automation—which takes into account how emergent and iterative processes are in practice—allows users to self-organize and define their processes more quickly and easily than anything else on the market. Whereas other automation platforms put the burden of productivity on employees and institutional knowledge, Transposit helps individuals optimize their own workflows, enabling greater innovation and efficiency. I’m a builder by nature and I look forward to growing Transposit’s engineering team and product.”
