As a key member of SmartAsset’s executive leadership team - reporting to the CEO and Co-Founder, Michael Carvin - Jones will lead the company through an exceptional growth phase and oversee all aspects of finance and accounting.

With more than 30+ years of combined public accounting and private industry experience, Jones most recently served as CFO at Vroom, an end-to-end ecommerce platform designed to offer a better way to buy and sell used vehicles. Before Vroom, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Iconix Brand Group, a global brand management business. Prior to Vroom, Jones was the Executive Vice President and CFO at Penske Automotive Group, an international Fortune 500 transportation services company.
A graduate of Seton Hall University and a CPA, Jones resides in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
