DODGE CENTER, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) company, will feature the latest in refuse collection vehicle advancements and technology at Waste Expo, May 9-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in its new West Hall.
The company brings transformation to front loader collection with its Meridian™ Front Loader, combined with its Latitude™ residential collection system that offers a game-changing upgrade to residential front loader routes. Attendees will also get a look at enhancements to McNeilus’ top-selling Zero Radius™ Automated Side Loader equipped with CartSeeker™ Curbside Automation technology and ClearSky™ by McNeilus® telematics. Learn more about electric refuse collection vehicles with McNeilus’ patented electric-PTO technology. And, the new Metro Pak Plus® Rear Loader will also be featured in a display outside the West Hall of the convention center.
“We’re always looking to the future and where the industry is going – looking for opportunities to help the industry evolve. What we’re exhibiting at Waste Expo this year is just a preview of where McNeilus is taking refuse collection,” said Jeff Koga, Vice President and General Manager, McNeilus Refuse Collection Vehicles. “We’re excited for customers to get a look at some of our latest innovations and learn more about what’s ahead.”
Along with forward-thinking innovations, the company also rebranded its replacement parts business. McNeilus now offers two distinct options for getting customers the parts they need – no matter the makes or models in their fleets.
Street Smart Parts™ and McNeilus® Genuine Parts both offer quality parts, vehicle lifetime support, and 24/7/365 online ordering. The Street Smart Parts brand provides aftermarket replacement parts designed specifically to fit all makes and models of refuse collection vehicles. McNeilus Genuine Parts provides replacement parts for McNeilus-manufactured trucks.
Among McNeilus’ top priorities is ensuring it keeps customer fleets up and running. Both of these parts brands deliver on that goal, especially at a critical time when supply chain issues can mean that customers may seek to repair, rather than replace, their vehicles.
What McNeilus offers in parts, products and technology elevates the standard across the industry, but what sets the company apart is its direct-from-manufacturer customer support. From mobile techs to parts specialists across North America and a best-in-class customer service and support team, McNeilus provides the solutions customers need from dedicated industry experts.
“Our customers need a partner that can help them keep their business running – without the runaround – and they have that in McNeilus,” said Matt McLeish, Vice President of Sales and Marketing-McNeilus Refuse Collection Vehicles. “These two parts brands, along with the technology innovations and product enhancements on display at the show, are just a few examples of the solutions McNeilus provides to help keep customer operations moving forward.”
