DRA Family Office Announces $10 Million Investment Fund to Support Women Business Owners

LOS ANGELES--()--DRA Family Office is pleased to announce the creation of DRA Investment Fund I, a $10 million fund dedicated to supporting women business owners in a variety of sectors by granting them access to capital.

DRA Family Office managing member Rose Vitale is a serial entrepreneur and investor who has been helping female entrepreneurs secure capital for the last decade. She is committed to raising the bar for funding female business owners. Historically, women-owned businesses have only received around two percent of all venture funding worldwide.

“Most female-led businesses have revenue of under $1 million a year. Women face significant challenges accessing the capital they need to take their businesses to the next level. So, there’s a lot of room for growth there,” said Vitale.

“Women have all the skills and knowledge they need to succeed,” Vitale says. “Often all that’s missing is somebody investing and believing in them. DRA Family Office is aiming to change the state of funding for women business owners with our first fund, and we know there will be follow-on funds.”

Founded in 2019, DRA Family Office invests in lower and middle-market private equity along with early-stage companies (seed through D rounds) that span a diverse range of industries, including real estate, technology, retail, and equity venture opportunities.

DRA Family Office is interested in partnering with other family offices and investors who want to help women business owners succeed.

“We know there are others out there interested in backing women-owned business,” said Vitale. “We look forward to meeting them and working with them. We have great sources for deal flow.”
