SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pantheon, the SaaS-based website operations (WebOps) platform for developers, designers and marketers, today announced it has named technology industry veteran Christine Park as chief people officer. Park will lead the evolution of Pantheon’s people organization, with a focus on building and scaling the strategies, teams, and processes needed to drive sustainable, global growth.
Park’s expertise is in steering industry-leading public and private technology organizations through monumental growth and change. Among her notable career milestones is transforming a leading Martech SaaS company’s team of several hundred into a globally distributed talent powerhouse of more than 3,000 employees across 30 countries.
Park joins Pantheon during a period of substantial talent investment, further fueled by the company’s $100 million Series E funding round in July 2021. Pantheon ended the year with a 44% net headcount increase, including a 49% boost in product and engineering team talent. This allows Pantheon to more rapidly deliver on product innovations like Autopilot, a first-of-its-kind feature launched in 2021 to enable the efficient release of site updates at scale via automated quality assurance.
The customer success team also expanded in 2021, with a 58% net headcount increase to support Pantheon’s growing customer base.
“I am eager to bring my experience to Pantheon and build on the company’s incredible momentum,” said Park. “My focus is on aligning talent to our business goals, accelerating our growth, and unlocking the true potential of our increasingly global team.”
Park will work in collaboration with the Pantheon leadership team as it builds the company’s international presence. Hiring momentum in key regions including the Philippines, India, the United Kingdom and Canada increased global team net headcount by 10% in 2021, with continued growth planned in 2022.
“Christine Park is an exceptional leader with the expertise Pantheon needs at this pivotal point in our company’s journey, and I am thrilled that she has joined the team,” said Zack Rosen, Pantheon co-founder and CEO. “I’m confident that she will make an incredible impact on the way we attract, empower and retain the talent we need to deliver extraordinary results for our customers.”
Recognized twice as an Inc. Best Workplace, Pantheon brings together collaborative, passionate professionals who work together every day to change the future of the web. For information on joining the team, visit pantheon.io/careers.
