FICO Expands Financial Education Events to Virtual Audiences Nationwide

In support of Financial Literacy Month, FICO’s “Score A Better Future” April event will focus on Credit Awareness along your Financial Journey with a special guest from The Finance Bar

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Leading applied analytics company FICO (NYSE:FICO) will host a free, virtual “Score A Better Future” financial education event for all audiences on April 28, 2022. Special guest Marsha Barnes, founder and CEO at The Finance Bar, will join Julie Wooding, senior director at FICO, to discuss the importance of financial literacy, including practical tips to better understand credit, how to navigate credit management during times of uncertainty, and what tools are available to empower you on your financial journey.

Titled “Incorporating Credit Awareness along Your Financial Journey,” the April event will continue the “Score A Better Future” informative conversation on the importance of knowing the key components of financial wellness and the FICO® Score, the credit score used by 90% of the top U.S. lenders to make credit decisions. In partnership with the non-profit organization, Operation HOPE, all registrants will receive a free copy of their credit report and FICO® Score with access to one-on-one credit coaching from financial well-being coaches to help attendees identify their starting point and develop a plan to address their financial goals.

FICO’s "Score A Better Future" program provides valuable information for consumers who want to improve their understanding of credit and their overall financial health. Available to attendees across the US, “Score A Better Future” will continue to host specific state and county events, as well as will offer virtual nationwide events throughout the year. The events allow consumers to hear from experts, debunk common financial myths, and discuss practical tips to better understand credit.
