CCT Research Launches Decentralized Clinical Trial Team to Meet Needs of Growth and Expansion

This New Support Team will Provide Research Leader with Enhanced Capabilities Across all Studies, Sites and Regions

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--()--CCT Research has announced the addition of a new innovative team that is focused on supporting a positive subject experience and delivering exceptional quality data as the company continues to grow and expand. This Decentralized Clinical Trial (DCT) team, which will be made up of experienced and remote Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs), will be pivotal for CCT Research to expand its reach and management of clinical trials by providing expert support to all subjects and sites within the network. The team will operate in a hybrid environment that will blend traditional clinical research and current technology to provide a contemporary definition to the CRC role.

Clinical Research Coordinators are integral to the success of every clinical trial. The CRCs work diligently under the delegation of the Principal Investigator on multiple, concurrent studies to complete all protocol, subject and data related activities. “The pandemic has forced the clinical research industry to find alternative ways to continue and support day-to-day operations without disruption to these vital studies,” said Kimberly Ponder, Director of Operations, CCT Research. “This DCT team will allow CCT Research to extend CRC support whenever and wherever needed.”

As Decentralized Clinical Trials and remote patient care become the new norm alongside in-person studies, CCT views it as crucial to embrace new opportunities and technology for their research teams.

“Decentralized Clinical Trials are a new and unique way of conducting clinical trials,” added Ponder. “The DCT team ensures CCT Research is not only keeping up with this trend, but is leading the way to define success in this environment.”

The DCT team is just one more way CCT Research continues to work toward its mission of leading today’s trials & offering tomorrow’s hope.
