DELRAY BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Serving Alcohol Inc., the preferred provider to businesses coast to coast for online alcohol and safety awareness training, is pleased to announce its course, California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training, has been approved by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) and is now available.
Starting in July of 2022, all servers of alcohol must be trained and certified in California. In the past, the training was simply recommended and not regulated. As of July 2022, training providers must be approved by the state, and only those that have been approved by the California ABC may offer their training. With over one million servers, bartenders, and managers in California, this training focuses on the skills and knowledge to safely serve alcohol and protect California communities.
Vice President of Product Management for Serving Alcohol Inc., Jennifer Pisarski, states, “We were so pleased to learn that our product mission of offering responsible alcohol training to servers and businesses was well supported by the California ABC. Our development team worked very quickly to understand the new requirements, formulate comprehensive training, and worked closely with the California ABC. We hope you enjoy this comprehensive course; feedback from our early adopters has been very positive!”
Founder of Serving Alcohol Inc., Robert Pomplun, states, “This course is a true reflection of our approach and core values of teaching alcohol seller-server best practices. Our goal is to help promote safe businesses and communities through alcohol awareness.”
