Redline Detection Reveals Battery + Coolant Leak Detector at TMC

BCLD is Engineered Specifically for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

ORANGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Redline Detection, the world’s leader in diagnostic leak detection technology, is participating in the TMC Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition where Redline will showcase new diagnostic leak detection technology for commercial electric vehicles. This year’s meeting, which takes place in Orlando, Florida on March 7-10, is focused on “Electrifying Performance in Maintenance Management.”

Redline Detection’s president Zachary Parker is onsite to discuss the new Battery + Coolant Leak Detector at TMC booth #1829. BCLD is engineered to safely and accurately test electric and hybrid vehicle systems to ensure all components are sealed to precise factory specifications after any routine maintenance, repair, or collision. The technology is mandated essential by a European OEM in 160 countries, and an American OEM is using this technology in all repair and collision locations. Testing the integrity of EV components is necessary after any collision or lid-off service and repair to ensure there is no intrusion of water, dust, or contaminants that could cause a catastrophic thermal event. The technology is fully customizable and updatable for new battery configurations. It also features live graphing and reports that can be accessed by any stakeholders in the organization to ensure quality control of procedures and safety of vehicles.

Redline’s Technical Solutions Manager Mark Hawkins will also speak at the TMC Task Force Meeting on “Leak Detection for Electric Vehicles” on March 7 at 3pm, for an in-depth discussion on EV leak detection technology.
