Shore Capital Partners Continues to Invest in Operational Support for Portfolio Companies, Announces Several Strategic Hires

The Shore Resource Team has a wide range of expertise to support small and medium businesses during all phases of growth, from partnership to exit

CHICAGO--()--Shore Capital Partners (“Shore”), a strategic private equity firm focused on microcap investing in the healthcare, food and beverage, business services and real estate industries with offices in Chicago and Nashville, today announced five strategic hires on its Shore Resource Team (“SRT”). This move supports the firm’s focused effort to strengthen its deep bench of operational experts that provide services to its portfolio companies.

Today, the SRT amounts to almost half the total Shore team. A unique offering within the microcap market, the SRT is designed to provide billion-dollar business resources traditionally accessible only to middle-market and large-cap companies.

In addition to direct support of individual companies, the SRT fosters collaboration between leaders across the portfolio. Networking and development events are organized by business cohorts in areas such as marketing, operations, information technology and revenue cycle management. These functional leaders from across the portfolio meet on a regular basis to share their experiences, network and collaborate on common challenges operators face today.

Shore has provided us invaluable access to a network of experts, resources and companies,” said John Nelson, Chief Executive Officer of Southern Orthodontic Partners, a Shore portfolio company. “Whether you’re just starting out or are a more mature company, the Shore Resource Team provides tactical and strategic support that is tailored to each company’s unique needs and bandwidth. We have used this expertise in getting new in-house capabilities established, in cross-referencing what other portfolio companies have already had success with or in supporting unique challenges to resourcing.”

Hiring top operational talent is a differentiator for Shore and allows us to best support small and medium-sized businesses to become regional and national powerhouses,” said Justin Ishbia, Managing Partner of Shore. “The Resource Team offers oversized bandwidth and expertise. Combined with harnessing the power of 30 companies collaborating, we accelerate and de-risk decision making to help businesses grow bigger, stronger and faster.”

The SRT’s five new hires join a deep bench of seasoned executives leading the team, including Sarah Hirsch, Chief Revenue Cycle Officer; Michael Burcham, Chief of Strategy and Talent Development; Justin Bentley, Head of Capital Markets; and Adam Werder, Chief Marketing Officer.
