BERA Adds to Management Team to Accelerate Growth

Seasoned product and marketing leaders will fuel predictive brand tech company’s innovation and expansion

NEW YORK--()--BERA.AI (“BERA”), the leading predictive brand technology system that links drivers of brand equity to business performance, today announced the appointment of Marsha Shapiro, Scott Turner and Jessica Baum to its management team. With aggressive plans to expand product capabilities and market reach following record Q4 growth, the company added a trio of industry veterans to lead the development of advanced client solutions and ignite demand among the world’s most influential brands.

As BERA’s Chief Product Officer (CPO), Marsha Shapiro brings 20 years of experience leading product management and delivery teams at Nike, 4R Systems, DemandTec/IBM, and The Home Depot. Shapiro has designed and launched marketing planning, pricing, and inventory optimization SaaS solutions for companies such as Walmart, Target, Family Dollar, Dillard’s and Tiffany & Co. Shapiro said, "I am thrilled to join BERA to provide key brand equity insights and actions in an easy to use platform that users love."

Scott Turner joins BERA as CMO, having held executive and marketing leadership roles for startup SaaS companies like Quali, CognitiveScale, and Orca, as well as Dell’s M&A group. Upon joining BERA, Turner said, “CMOs and their CFO colleagues are faced with multiple dilemmas—how to reliably understand their brand health among their prospects and current customers by segment and region, and to identify with precision where best to invest their efforts and budget to increase their sales and enterprise value. I am awestruck (and a little jealous!) at the value BERA brings to CMOs—highly specific brand and revenue-maximizing recommendations, supported by real-time data.”

Jessica Baum joins BERA as the SVP, Product Marketing. Jessica is a career product marketer with 15 years of experience building and leading marketing teams and go-to-market initiatives at Skillsoft, Ally, and Pushpay. She is excited to join BERA's next season of growth and work on a product that revolutionizes how marketing teams measure, grow and connect brand equity to financial outcomes. "Investing in a brand is never an easy conversation. Historically, it's been one of the hardest ROIs to track, leaving CMOs and marketing teams reliant on vanity metrics to defend their budgets. With BERA, marketers are disrupting those conversations with data. As a result, they can now demonstrate the tangible impact and direct correlation between their brand investments and the financial impact it has on growing revenue and overall business value."

“I am so excited to have Marsha, Scott, and Jessica leading BERA’s product and marketing groups,” said Ryan Barker, Chief Executive Officer of BERA. “Each brings a wealth of leadership and proven track records that will provide more innovation for our customers and grow our company.”
