BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--20/20 Onsite, a Boston-based mobile eye health provider has launched three new Mobile Vision Clinics and updated its look to help fulfill its mission of providing high-quality, accessible vision care to patients across the country.
Since its founding in 2014, 20/20 Onsite has grown into the leading provider of on-site vision care. Its eye care team currently serves over 450 sites, providing high-quality eye exams at patients' workplaces and neighborhoods. In response to COVID-19, 20/20 Onsite also expanded its services to support clinical research and post-marketing access to care by bringing ophthalmic assessments directly to the patient at or near their homes.
Currently, each Mobile Vision Clinic sees thousands of patients per year. With the expansion of clinical trial support, along with visiting more neighborhoods and residential buildings outside of the Boston area, the team is excited to expand its capabilities and fleet in order to better serve patients.
“I am incredibly proud that the team has been so resilient through COVID - from a complete shut down in March of 2020 to seeing new patients and creating an entire new service delivery platform with clinical research,” said Alexis McLaughlin, President and CEO of 20/20 Onsite. “Now we’re here with three new mobile vision clinics ready to hit the road! Our team literally goes the extra mile to make high-quality vision care more accessible to all.”
One of the newest vehicles will travel around New England partnering with companies to provide vision care to employees at their offices. The other two vehicles are custom built to support clinical research and will be traveling across the country for clinical trial patients.
Each of these vehicles starts as a blank canvas, requiring comprehensive considerations around the patient and doctor experience, fuel efficiency, and carbon footprint.
“There is a purpose in every little detail on the exterior and interior of each Mobile Vision Clinic. It’s a combination of innovative thinking and figuring it out in flight over countless long days between our staff, designers, and manufacturers. All of that hard work pays off when you see your vision come to life,” said Ivan Quiroz, LDO, Senior Director of Service Delivery, 20/20 Onsite.
In addition to its new vehicles, 20/20 Onsite has refreshed its brand’s visual identity, which patients can see on each mobile vision clinic, the website, and other communication materials.
Every design element, from the logo mark to the vehicle wrap needed to be easily recognizable and communicate 20/20 Onsite’s offerings clearly. While the company is keeping its signature bright yellow, the updated logo is a subtle wink to vision care.
“The goal was to ensure that our new brand and vehicles stand out on the road and reflect our high quality of care as well as our approachable personality,” said McLaughlin. “The message of who we are and what we do is now much more clear. We are here to help patients everywhere prioritize their eye health.”
