CLARKSBURG, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Robotic Research, a global leader in autonomous driving technology, today announced the appointment of Donald Walther as the company’s Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. In this role, Don will be overseeing the development and execution of Robotic Research’s legal strategy including the long-term growth of the company’s commercial division, RR.AI.

Walther brings to Robotic Research more than 25 years of expertise, including experience in the advanced technology, aerospace, and defense sectors. Prior to joining Robotic Research, he served as General Counsel for API Technologies Corp., TopBuild Corp. and Esterline Corporation, a worldwide supplier to the aerospace and defense industry. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility at The Heico Companies LLC, ITT Corporation and The Boeing Company. Throughout his career, he has held a number of governance roles with community organizations.

Walther graduated from Duke University and earned a JD and MBA from the University of Chicago. He is the recipient of multiple industry and leadership awards and is a Six Sigma Green Belt with extensive experience in Strategic Goal Deployment.
