Chilton Trust Adds Private Banking Veteran Elizabeth Weymouth to Board of Directors

NEW YORK--()--Chilton Trust, a leading privately owned, independent wealth management firm and national trust bank, today announced that Elizabeth Weymouth has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Ms. Weymouth will serve alongside Chilton Trust’s other Directors, including newly appointed Board Member John A. Hilton, Jr., bringing nearly thirty years of industry acumen to the Board.

"Elizabeth brings tenured experience in asset and wealth management, with broad experience in both public and private markets, to Chilton Trust’s Board,” said Richard Lockwood Chilton, Jr., Chilton Trust’s Founder and Chairman. “I am pleased to welcome Elizabeth, as I believe her diversified background, along with her deep roots in Delaware and New York, provide a dynamic perspective to our team, enabling us to better serve our clients."

Ms. Weymouth is the Founder, Managing Partner and Chair of the Investment Committee of Grafine Partners, a boutique alternative asset management firm. Prior to founding Grafine Partners in 2018, Ms. Weymouth spent 10 years at Riverstone Holdings, a private investment firm focused on growth capital investments in the energy industry. Before joining Riverstone, Ms. Weymouth was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Head of Investments for the U.S. Northeast region, the largest investment business within the Private Bank.

"Having known Elizabeth for twenty years personally and professionally, we share many points of commonality around financial stewardship that will be highly advantageous as she joins Chilton Trust's Board of Directors,” said Pepper Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer at Chilton Trust. “Elizabeth's career trajectory, which includes being deeply entrenched in both wealth management and private markets, is indicative of the future of the industry at large and our commitment to building a nimble team that is able to meet the ever-evolving needs of clients.”

Ms. Weymouth has served on the Board of Trustees for the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for the last fifteen years. Notably, she was the first woman to serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and held the position for three years. Ms. Weymouth was also formerly a Member of the Board of Governors at the Isidore Newman School, serving as the Chair of the Investment Committee. She is currently a Board Member at the Deerfield Academy and Queen’s Gambit Growth Capital, a solely female-led blank check company, while also serving as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a non-profit think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. Ms. Weymouth earned her M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and her B.A. from the University of Virginia.

“I am passionate about innovation, excellence, integrity and contributing as a global citizen. Having seen Chilton Trust’s growth over the past several years, this is an opportune time to join and contribute to a mission that resonates,” added Ms. Weymouth. “I am drawn to the firm’s philosophy of holistic, client-first wealth management.
