BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Integrated Partners, a national financial planning and registered investment advisory firm, completes a year of banner growth – adding 11 financial advisor teams totaling about $2.5 billion in assets serviced – capped with the addition of a new financial advisory team led by M. Kent Welborn, CFP, CEPA, AEP, CLU, and overseeing approximately $130M in assets serviced.
Integrated Partners ends 2021 with 160 financial advisors and 140 certified professional accountants (CPAs). At $3.5 billion in assets serviced five years ago, closing the year at nearly $12 billion represents a major growth trajectory for the firm and its 60 offices across 24 states.
During his 21-year career, Kent Welborn has focused on serving entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, high-net-worth clients, and others, by bringing together all the members of the team needed to provide holistic financial counsel --such as accountants and attorneys. This approach mirrors the approach Integrated Partners has deployed since inception in 1996, beginning with the creation of its CPA Alliance a quarter century ago.
The Integrated CPA Alliance aligns two of an investor’s most trusted partners – their financial advisor and certified public accountants – and unifies them on the same team for the benefit of the client, as well as both financial practitioners’ firms. This partnership produces the best outcome for the client by putting the client at the center of this relationship.
“We wanted to find a partner organization that offered us the opportunity to grow but also mirrored our ethos – which felt like searching for a needle in a stack of needles,” Welborn said. “When we began talking to Integrated Partners, something clicked – and as we explored everything they had to offer it was such a fit that it almost felt too good to be true. But the more team members and advisors we spoke to, the clearer it became that we had found a firm that truly understood us and where we needed to go.”
Integrated’s Business Owner Solutions program was very compelling to the Welborn team. The group has designed processes that prepare business owners for the many eventualities that come their way. The team helps create a foundation of predictable cash flow and profits, sustainable growth, and defendable equity value through what it has dubbed the three elements of growth strategy.
“While we are multi-custodial and an excellent fit for RIAs, hybrid firms and breakaway brokers, finding Kent was special because it was such an obvious match,” said Rob Sandrew, Chief Growth Officer at Integrated Partners. “As both parties did their due diligence, the synchronicity between our firms became crystal clear. Closing our best recruiting year ever is all the more special by way of welcoming this team aboard.”
Along with Welborn, other team members include Will Schoffelman, an associate wealth management advisor known for his client-first mentality, and Allison Ellstrom, director of operations, who will be joining Integrated Partners.
