KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Camber Spine, a leading innovator in spine and medical technologies, has named Edward J. Vresilovic, Jr., M.D., Ph.D. as its new Chief Medical Officer.
A leading board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon, Dr. Vresilovic most recently practiced with UPMC Orthopaedic Specialists of Central PA, and was previously Professor at the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Penn Sate College of Medicine. He has also served as Chief of Spine Service, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, at Harvard's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and PENN's Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Vresilovic brings more than 36 years of experience in orthopedic surgery to the new role. After graduating from Perelman School of Med at the University of Pennsylvania in 1985, he did his residency in orthopaedic surgery at PENN. He followed this training with fellowships in joint reconstruction at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, and spinal disorders at UCSD in San Diego. He has maintained an active educational and research career with more than 100 peer-reviewed original papers, and ten patents.
