Hootsuite Announces Changes to Its Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hootsuite today announced the appointment of four new directors to its Board of Directors. Julie Herendeen, Christiane Pendarvis, Dave Singh, and Carl Sparks join existing directors, Ryan Holmes, Tom Keiser and Jeff Lieberman on the Hootsuite board. Herendeen has been appointed Board Chair.

Concurrent with the new additions, Sara Clemens and Shahrzad Rafati have transitioned from the board.

Julie Herendeen is a corporate director who also serves on the board of directors of HubSpot, Inc. (NASDAQ:HUBS). Previously, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at PagerDuty, Inc. (NYSE:PD) and prior to that led Global Enterprise Marketing at Uber, Inc. (NYSE:UBER). She led global marketing and the self-service business at Dropbox, Inc. (NASDAQ:DBX) and previously led product and marketing teams at Yahoo!, Lookout and Apple Computer (NASDAQ:AAPL).

Christiane Pendarvis is the co-President and Chief Merchant Officer at Savage x Fenty, a lingerie brand. She was formerly the Senior Vice President, E-Commerce at Fullbeauty Brands Operations, LLC, an online and catalog retail brand; Vice President of Ecommerce at Charming Charlies; Vice President of Crowd Source Design and Operations at Minted, a lifestyle brand and design marketplace, and the Vice President, Global Product Operations and Vice President, General Manager, Old Navy Men’s, at Gap Inc. (NYSE:GPS), a clothing and accessories retailer.

Dave Singh is the Chief Financial Officer at Tucows Inc. (TSX:TC), a global provider of internet services. He was formerly the Chief Financial Officer at TELUS International, a provider of multilingual digital customer experience and digital IT solutions, and Director, Financial Reporting & Analysis and Director, Consumer Retail, at TELUS Communications, a national telecommunications provider.

Carl Sparks is a Managing Partner at Interlock Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm. He is also a director of Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ:CPRT), ActionIQ, BlueNile, and Lucid, LLC. Sparks has previously served on the board of directors of Avis Budget Group. (CAR), Dunkin’ Brands (NASDAQ:DNKNV) and Vonage Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:VG), and on the advisory board of Comment Sold. Prior roles include Chief Executive Officer at Academic Partnerships; Chief Executive Officer at Travelocity Global; and various management and marketing roles at Expedia (NASDAQ:EXPE).
