MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Potomac Fund Management, Inc. (“Potomac”), a boutique investment strategist, has hired a new research analyst – Drew Wells, CMT, CIMA – to bolster its research program as the firm plans to unveil a new research offering for financial advisors in Q1 2022.
Mr. Wells joins Potomac’s research division, which is led by Dan Russo, CMT, Portfolio Manager, who has been publishing free daily technical analysis research.
“Drew has a keen focus on cutting through the clutter of market analysis and turning market information into insights that are actionable, which made him a great fit for our team,” said Potomac Chief Executive Officer Manish Khatta. “We have been getting phenomenal feedback on Dan’s technical analysis and we’re excited to add Drew’s perspective.”
Before joining Potomac, Mr. Wells was an Investment Portfolio Manager at City National Bank Trust & Wealth Management as well as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Potomac has grown assets by over 330% in the past 18 months, and now stands at over $600M in AUM/AUA. The firm shows no signs of slowing down, and has added eight new team members in 2021, for a total of 15 employees in 11 states.
