SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--L’ATTITUDE returns to San Diego this month for a sensational in-person experience that will bring some of Hollywood’s most talented Latinx actors, writers, and filmmakers to the event stage. The four-day event will be taking place at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and will kick off on Wednesday, September 29th, and run through Saturday, October 2nd. L'ATTITUDE’s entertainment lineup includes intimate conversations with cast and crew from HBO Max’s The Garcia’s, Amazon Studios’ Welcome to The Blumhouse films Bingo Hell and Madres, and this year’s LATINXT list honorees.
Initially launched in 2018 with actor and entrepreneur Zoe Saldaña and filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, the 2021 LATINXT list includes television and film talent who are redefining what it means to be Latinx in the United States. Notable honorees include Michael Cimino of Hulu’s Love, Victor, America’s Got Talent finalist Gina Brillon, Zoey Luna of Universal’s Dear Evan Hansen, and Al Madrigal, who will be starring, writing, and producing his new sitcom Guerrillas as part of his new overall multi-year deal with CBS Studios.
Co-founder of L’ATTITUDE, Sol Trujillo, recognizes the efforts and achievements that this year’s LATINXT list honorees have made and is looking forward to celebrating them at this year’s event. “The data shows that Latinos are driving growth and profit in the entertainment industry more than any other demographic. The honorees will participate at this year's event by taking the stage during The LATINXT sessions, which will take place on Thursday, September 30th. The LATINXT sessions will kick off with a special conversation that brings back last year’s honorees’ whose careers continue to excel. These talented alumni who include Adria Arjona (Sony Pictures’ Morbius), Alexa Mansour (AMC’s The Walking Dead: World Beyond), and Rhenzy Feliz (Walt Disney’s Encanto), will gather on stage where they’ll share their 2020 LATINXT experiences and help celebrate this year’s honorees. LATINXT sessions this year include panels that highlight the following topics:

- Looking to the Past, Present, and Future of Latinx Storytelling
- Conversation with the Latinx filmmakers and cast of Amazon’s ‘Welcome to the Blumhouse’ titles Bingo Hell and Madres
The LATINXT sessions are just one part of the larger L’ATTITUDE event agenda, which will span four days of sessions covering business, finance, politics, sports, and entertainment, with panels focused on Latin music as well as upcoming streaming, film, and TV content.

In addition to the scheduled LATINXT and accompanying entertainment sessions, the event will feature the annual L’ATTITUDE gala, which is curated by partner Emilio Estefan. The Friday night gala will include a performance from singer-songwriter Lupita Infante, remarks from Mexican champion boxer Canelo Alvarez, and the presentation of this year’s L’ATTITUDE Leadership Award. While the honoree is yet to be announced, the award is presented to individuals who, in their life and work, have achieved exemplary personal success, which they have then leveraged to improve the lives of others. Past honorees include Emilio Estefan, Eva Longoria, and Chef José Andrés.

The four-day event brings together talent from Apple, Amazon Studios, AMC, Blumhouse Productions, HBO Max, Hulu, NBC, Paramount Plus, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures, and Walt Disney Studios.
