Pepperdine Executive MBA Ranked Number 21 in Nation by Fortune Magazine

Pepperdine Graziadio brand, admission selectivity, student work experience and senior executives in Fortune 1000 companies drive prestigious position in inaugural ranking

LOS ANGELES--()--Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s Executive MBA programs, which include the unique Presidents and Key Executives (PKE) MBA, was named number 21 in the US by Fortune magazine in its inaugural ranking of executive MBA programs. The Pepperdine Graziadio Executive MBA is recognized for its brand, admission selectivity, work experience of incoming students (15 years), and the number of Graziadio alumni (all programs) who are c-suite executives at Fortune 1000 companies.

“Pepperdine Graziadio’s Executive MBA programs are renowned for focusing on strategy and mastering the nuances of business that have evolved over time and will be vital for the future,” said Deryck van Rensburg, dean, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. “We are pleased, but not at all surprised given our long history as one of the first executive programs, to be named among the top in the nation.”

Pepperdine Graziadio’s Executive MBA (EMBA) teaches current managers and executives to be strong and effective leaders in the modern business world. In addition to training through coursework during the 19-month program, each small, collaborative cohort benefits from a network of peers from across industry sectors that lend experience, best practices, and new perspectives. Classes meet on Friday or Saturday. Each cohort is assigned a class advisor who acts as a mentor and offers guidance to students as they complete their degrees. The Presidents and Key Executives MBA program is a one-of-a-kind MBA strategically designed to challenge top-level executives charged with strategic decision-making and bottom-line results. The PKE MBA is the only degree program in the world designed for senior, c-suite executives and entrepreneurial business owners. Throughout the 15-month experience, executives from diverse industry backgrounds meet monthly for boardroom-style classes that cultivate a collaborative learning environment paired with a stimulating academic curriculum fostered by our world-class faculty. About the Fortune Ranking

This is the first EMBA ranking by Fortune (methodology here). Fortune invited schools to participate in the first-ever Best Executive MBA Programs ranking. That information, along with data collected from companies and executives, was used to build the ranking. The final ranking is made up of three components: Program Score, Brand Score, and Fortune 1000 Score. The Fortune rankings are available here.
