NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--White Oak Global Advisors (“White Oak”) announced today that it has brought on Eric Tanjeloff as Managing Principal to lead White Oak Real Estate Capital (“WOREC”), a newly formed affiliate focused on credit opportunities in commercial real estate. WOREC will initially focus on direct loan origination secured by high quality real estate assets in the U.S. The affiliate will provide owners of transitional assets flexible capital to execute value add and opportunistic business plans, ranging from ground up construction to acquisition and lease-up bridge loans. WOREC will lend tactically against a broad range of commercial real estate asset classes and real estate operating companies. Loan sizes will typically range from $25 million to $150 million.
The launch of WOREC extends White Oak's expertise in commercial real estate, building upon the success of real estate lending in other White Oak affiliates including White Oak Commercial Finance and White Oak Healthcare Finance.

Eric Tanjeloff brings over 20 years of experience to White Oak Real Estate Capital. Most recently, Eric served as a Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investments at Melody Capital Partners, LP, an investment management firm and was also a member of its investment committee. Prior to joining Melody, Eric worked in the Real Estate and Lodging Investment Banking division at JP Morgan as an Executive Director and co-led CBRE's real estate capital and advisory division in the U.S.
