NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Simplify Asset Management (“Simplify”), an innovative provider of Exchange Traded Funds (“ETFs”), today announced two additions to its executive team in newly created positions:
- John Ryu, Chief Financial Officer; and
- Ken Miller, Portfolio Manager.
Ryu joins Simplify with more than two decades of experience in senior finance, consulting, technology and venture-focused roles. Most recently, he was Founder & General Partner with Hypothesis, an accelerator and pre-seed fund partnering with mission-driven founders. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder of Assurely and a Partner & Board Partner with Scout Ventures, a seed stage venture capital firm where he played an active role in assisting portfolio companies with business development, marketing, recruitment and product innovation.
Miller joins Simplify from Longtail Alpha, where was a Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, he spent 18 years with PIMCO as Portfolio Manager and Executive Vice President.

Simplify launched their first three ETFs in September of 2020. Since then, the fund family has grown to include 12 ETFs which cumulatively crossed the $500 million asset threshold in June 2021.
