MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rasmussen University, a regionally accredited private university, today announced the relocation of its Eagan, Minn., campus to a brand-new, enhanced space—opening in fall 2021. The new Rasmussen University Eagan campus, located at 1305 Corporate Center Drive, is just three miles from the current campus. Construction is underway with classes beginning this October. The Eagan campus will continue to serve students at the current location until the new campus opens.
The new 32,000-square-foot campus will include large, high-tech classrooms in addition to updated labs and simulation equipment for Nursing and Health Sciences programs. The campus will also feature expanded office space, modern lounge and study spaces, and a beautiful outdoor common area for the staff and students to enjoy.
“Our new Eagan campus location is a great opportunity for us to deliver the best student experience as well as elevate community partnerships in a strong, growing community that we have been a part of for more than 30 years,” said Erica O’Gorman, campus director, Rasmussen University—Eagan. “We’re excited to be closer to some of our healthcare employer partners as well as to have new enhanced labs and simulation equipment for our health sciences and nursing students.”
The area around the Eagandale Corporate Center has seen tremendous growth over the past decade, including new business development and road construction. Students and staff will have access to restaurants, shopping and even a local park within walking distance. The location is convenient for commuting as it is located right off Interstate 494.
“As the communities around us continue to grow and thrive, Rasmussen adapts to fit the needs of the economy and the people it serves,” said Dr. Ann Leja, Rasmussen University interim president. “We offer our students an enhanced learning experience with real-world career preparation and wide-reaching impact at their convenience.”
