ST. LOUIS--()--Safety National commemorated the completion of its two-year Maryland Heights corporate headquarters expansion construction project with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

The company invested $32 million to construct an additional 145,000 square foot office building at 1832 Schuetz Road to house the organization’s professional development and operations functions. Approximately 120,000 square feet of the expansion is office space dedicated to current and future growth. With triple the employee base since the original headquarters building was constructed in 2004, Safety National currently employs 655 individuals and projects to reach levels of 750-1,000 employees over the next few years.

“Our significant organizational growth is a result of the hard work and determination of our employees,” said Safety National’s CEO, Mark Wilhelm. “One of our top priorities is to provide the infrastructure and resources to attract and retain the greatest talent in our field, which in turn enables us to deliver superior service to our customers and remain a leader in our industry. Our new facility better positions us to continue to do just that. Furthermore, this expansion also reaffirms our commitment to remain a dedicated and active corporate member of our local community.”

For the ribbon cutting, members of Safety National’s executive management team were joined by Mayor Mike Moeller, City Administrator Tracey Anderson, Building Commissioner Paul Garlock and other Maryland Heights government officials. Local expansion project partners also attended from Gershman Commercial Real Estate, ACI Bolan, PARIC and Color Art.
