MetroNet Names Dave Heimbach President and Chief Operating Officer

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MetroNet, Inc., today announced that Dave Heimbach will join the fast-growing company as President and Chief Operating Officer effective July 5, 2021. Heimbach is currently Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Shenandoah Telecommunications Company, DBA Shentel (NASDAQ: SHEN), which operates wireless, cable and fiber optic networks in portions of Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Prior to Shentel, Heimbach was Chief Operating Officer of Colorado-based Rise Broadband and currently serves as a Board Member of ACA Connects, an industry association. Prior to Rise, Heimbach led multiple business units for Cincinnati Bell, eventually serving as Chief Operating Officer.
