Christine Patrick will join Root, the leading insurtech company, following the company’s recent IPO

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Root Inc., the parent company of Root Insurance, has announced today that Christine Patrick will join the company as VP, Investor Relations.

“Root continues to transform since the October 2020 IPO. We’re thrilled to welcome Christine to Root at such a pivotal time for the company,” said Root CFO Dan Rosenthal. “Christine brings significant expertise in investor relations, communications, and strategy to the team. We’re eager to leverage her experience and insights as we continue to communicate the Root value proposition and disruption to investors.”

Christine Patrick comes to Root with more than 10 years of insurance-industry experience, both in investor relations and as a sell-side-analyst. Most recently, Patrick led investor relations with Kemper Corporation and previously with National General Holdings Corporation. As a senior equity research analyst at JMP Securities, she covered both Property & Casualty and Mortgage Insurance sectors.

“Given Root’s significant growth and recent IPO, it’s an exciting time to have the opportunity to join the team,” said Patrick. “Marrying behavioral data with actuarial claims experience puts Root in a unique position to disrupt the auto insurance industry, and I look forward to taking part in communicating that story.”
