SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Guard Dog Solutions, Inc., dba guardDog.ai, a rapidly expanding leader in cyber security solutions for consumers and businesses, today announced the appointment of Rich Wickham to SVP, Ecosystems.
In Wi-Fi and wired networks, guardDog.ai protects and warns against threats outside the perimeter of the network or on attached devices that other solutions often don’t see. Devices of every kind are inherently vulnerable to the networks they join. guardDog.ai employs patent-pending artificial intelligence to pre-emptively recognize, expose, and shut down cybersecurity threats before an attack can happen.
In his role as SVP of Ecosystems, Rich will advance the guardDog.ai’s growth as a rapidly expanding enterprise in the U.S. and worldwide. Rich brings proven experience in general manager roles for globally distributed teams of 300-plus and P&L targets of more than $1.2B.
Rich brings deep experience in driving inbound and outbound software IP transactions and large-scale M&A deals of more than $1 billion. His prior background includes management of Microsoft Dynamics global sales, channel/partner, product and business development teams. He has led the design, development, and implementation of worldwide Microsoft Dynamics channel partner incentives and programs to a level of 4,000-plus partners in 42 countries.
Additionally, he led the team managing core Microsoft interactive entertainment franchises, including Halo, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Age of Empires and others. Prior to his technology career, Rich was a USAF Judge Advocate and senior attorney at two international law firms, and led teams focused on complex commercial transactions and large-scale litigation in the US, UK and EMEA.
Rich Wickham said, “Cyber security should be job number one for growing companies and everyday consumers of technology. guardDog provides an easy plug and play solution for that. The world has changed over the last year, as everyone grapples with an ever-expanding cyber security attack surface beyond the control of their networks. We have 16 devices in my home, and I can’t keep track of all of them. Luckily, guardDog does that for me.”
Rich continued, “Working from home presents new challenges for network security, and guardDog has a unique approach to securing networks and devices to address this shifting landscape. I am thrilled to join the team and help shape this new approach. We talk about bringing your own devices to the network, but guardDog is bringing your own secure network to the new world of work from home.”
guardDog.ai CEO Peter Bookman said, “Rich brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to our executive team in building dominant brands and cultivating market ecosystems. I am excited that he has joined guardDog and certain he will help increase our momentum.”
