Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Club Announces Virtual 25th Annual Conference

Private equity and venture capital professionals, academics and students to congregate April 8 and 9 for virtual event

PHILADELPHIA--()--The Private Equity & Venture Capital Conference, a student-organized event at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, will hold its 25th annual Wharton Private Equity and Venture Capital Conference on Thursday, April 8 and Friday, April 9.

The two-day conference, which will be conducted virtually for the first time, will focus on the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the private equity industry. Prominent GPs, LPs, and other venture capital and private equity professionals and faculty, will examine shifts caused by COVID-19, including the creation and acceleration of trends and whether these changes will endure once the pandemic is over.

Keynote speakers for the event are Seema Hingorani, Managing Director, Morgan Stanley, and Mike Milken, Chairman, The Milken Institute. Other speakers include: Raj Makam, Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager, Oaktree; Meenla Mehta, Managing Director, Antares; Jason Scheir, Managing Director, Apollo; Robert “Tre” Sayle, Partner, Thoma Bravo; and Melissa Francis, Managing Director, Altamont Capital Partners.
