TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ether Capital Corporation (“Ether Capital” or the “Company”) (NEO: ETHC) announced today that it has completed its Ether purchase program following the closing of its overnight marketed offering (the “Offering”) on March 15, 2021.
The Company purchased 11,264 Ether (“ETH”) for a purchase price of US$19,616,110, or approximately C$24,500,000. This reflected a cost per ETH of US$1,741. The Company’s Ether balance is now 43,512 Ether.
“We are thrilled to announce this new purchase of Ether with the net proceeds of our recent Offering,” said Brian Mosoff, Ether Capital’s CEO. “Ethereum has had an unprecedented year, currently on track to settle trillions of dollars in value in the first quarter of 2021 alone and being driven by a number of fascinating use cases, like decentralized finance and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). We are proud to bring access to this vibrant ecosystem to our shareholders. Ether Capital intends to make a more substantial commitment of its Ether balance to staking which we expect to make an announcement on in due course.”
