During his tenure, he authored dozens of studies and papers and provided expert testimony to Congressional committees, federal regulators, and state agencies. Most recently, Ikenson served as director of Cato’s Herbert A. Stiefel Center for Trade Policy Studies, where he led a team of attorneys, economists, and political scientists conducting trade policy research.
