ST. PAUL, Minn.--()--The average American might change careers several times over their working years—and they’re most likely to do so in times of economic change, such as this year’s pandemic and recovery. A refreshed mySkills myFuture website, from the U.S. Department of Labor’s CareerOneStop, aims to help laid-off workers and other job seekers identify their best career options.

At MySkillsMyFuture.org, job seekers can enter their current or past job and get a list of career options that might be a good fit for them. The list is based on the skills and knowledge that might transfer between occupations. From there, users can refine their lists and view details for each career, such as typical job duties, average wages, and common education or other preparation. They can also view local job openings and training options.
