Finish Line Youth Foundation Announces Louder Than Words Grant Program

Year-long initiative provides $500,000 to communities of color, supports company’s commitment to act

INDIANAPOLIS--()--The Finish Line Youth Foundation announced today the opening of its 2021 Louder Than Words Grant program, which will provide $500,000 in funds to communities of color, both within the Foundation’s Far Eastside neighborhood in Indianapolis, as well as across the nation. The program directly supports Finish Line’s stand against racial injustice and commitment to acting against bigotry, hate and violence.

“Our company made a promise to fuel long term solutions that make our organization, employees and communities better,” said Marty Posch, Finish Line Youth Foundation president. “Through internal discussions with our team members, as well as members of leadership, we knew one way we could make a true impact was through highlighting and amplifying organizations that champion people of color and provide them with the resources and support they deserve.”

The program will delegate $500,000 to qualifying organizations who will have the opportunity to apply for grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. The Foundation will support non-profit organizations that offer programming or activities that place an importance on commitment and capacity to deliver positive impact to diverse communities. Projects considered include programming around personal development, an active and healthy lifestyle or education, as well as improvements to existing buildings, grounds, and property or for new facilities.

Additional information and qualifications can be found on the Youth Foundation’s grant program website.

The deadline to submit grant applications online for this quarter is April 30.
