DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Condit Exhibits has appointed Donnie MacDonald as Vice President of Operations. Condit’s leadership team made the unanimous decision to promote MacDonald from his previous position of Project Developer and Estimator in late February.
MacDonald has more than 20 years of production experience in the trade show industry, architectural millwork, corporate events, and film/TV, including serving as the Vice President of Operations for PG Exhibits prior to joining Condit in 2017. His vast knowledge and understanding of fabrication, design, materials, and technology promise to be assets in his new role.

Donnie has extensive connections to our industry and will be able to draw on these connections to get our capacity back quickly,” said CEO Mike McGowan. “In addition, Donnie has the temperament and positive outlook that I believe will help us rebuild this company.”
In the summer of 2020, after nearly three decades with Condit, beloved VP of Operations Richard Raedeke passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. This was a devastating loss for his family, his friends, and his colleagues.
“The last year has been extremely tough, and even without COVID, losing our fearless captain of the ship was a devastating blow to us all,” MacDonald said. “I cannot replace Richard, but I will be trying my hardest to honor the amazing culture and solid foundations he worked so hard to provide for his Condit family. He was a great and influential leader whose legacy will not be forgotten.”
MacDonald looks to help Condit rebound after what has been a challenging year for live events.
“The hardest things to deal with during COVID have been the inconsistencies and the unknowns. Hopefully, normalcy comes sooner rather than later, but knowing we have the greatest team in-place and ready when it does is a great relief,” MacDonald said.
