AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WP Engine, the world’s most trusted WordPress technology company, announced the results of a new, international research study showing headless is already pervasive in the enterprise. 64 percent of enterprise respondents already use headless, and more than 90 percent of those not currently using headless plan to evaluate headless solutions over the next 12 months. Further, the results showed 92 percent of respondents agreed that implementing headless CMS technologies makes it easier for organizations to deliver a consistent content experience.
The research, commissioned by WP Engine and carried out in the U.S., UK and Australia by Vanson Bourne, was undertaken to assess the state of headless technology as a whole, how it’s being used in the enterprise, and how WordPress plays a role. 400 IT/technical employees with a knowledge of headless technologies at companies with at least 1,000 employees and revenue that averaged out to $2.7 billion were interviewed in January and February 2021.
