The Beekman Group Supports GED Integrated Solutions, Inc. in its Acquisition of Norfield, Inc.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Beekman Group ("Beekman") announced today that its portfolio company GED Integrated Solutions, Inc. ("GED") has acquired Norfield, Inc. (“Norfield”), a California-based provider of equipment, parts, and services primarily to the door manufacturing market. Norfield serves a diverse base of customers and is a leader in the pre-hung door machinery industry, with decades of experience providing value-added solutions that support automation. Norfield was founded in 1959 and has a tenured staff that has driven strong, long-term performance with excellent products and customer service. Norfield is headquartered in Chico, CA and has a second facility in the Raleigh, NC area.

Bill Weaver, CEO of GED, commented, “We are highly impressed with Norfield’s market position, their product portfolio, and long-term customer relationships. Their successful history of serving the door manufacturing market and their focus on value-added solutions is a terrific match for GED, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the GED family. We believe we will accomplish more together in the years to come than we could as separate companies.”

Jeff Reed, Executive Chairman of GED added, “Norfield and GED are leaders in their respective equipment markets, and they share the same goals of delivering high quality products, services and aftermarket parts to their customers. The two businesses will complement each other well, and I along with Beekman and GED look forward to supporting their continued growth.”

GED is the third platform investment for Beekman Investment Partners IV, LP.
