Kathy Cody Appointed President of Orchid Insurance

Accomplished Senior Executive Previously Served as Specialty Underwriter’s COO

VERO BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As part of an ongoing effort to provide differentiated shareholder and partnership value to its customers, Kathy Cody was appointed President of Orchid Underwriters Agency, LLC (Orchid Insurance), a leading specialty underwriter of catastrophe-exposed property insurance, Brad Emmons, Chief Executive Officer at Orchid, announced today.

Emmons said Cody, who joined Orchid Insurance in 2019 as chief operating officer, has been instrumental in modernizing the company’s business platform, acquiring impressive talent designed for transformative growth, and planting the seeds for harvesting future enterprise value.
