Fintech and financial services-focused growth equity firm promotes Matthew Alfieri to Principal, Jay Lee to Vice President

PALO ALTO, Calif. & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Centana Growth Partners, a specialized growth equity firm focused on the future of financial services, is pleased to announce the promotions of Matthew Alfieri to Principal and Jay Lee to Vice President. These promotions recognize Matthew and Jay’s significant contributions to both Centana’s portfolio companies and the firm. Their insights and dedication have earned them appreciation both inside and outside Centana, especially with management teams who value their collaborative approach.

Matthew Alfieri, Principal: Matt joined Centana in 2017, and currently serves as a board observer of SpyCloud and Beacon. Prior to joining Centana, Matt spent nine years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a Vice President with the Principal Strategic Investments team where he led multiple investments across fintech and enterprise technology working in London and New York. Matt was named one of Business Insider’s Rising Stars of Wall Street (2019). Matt received a BA in Business Administration in the Financial Analyst Honors Program from the University at Albany.

Jay Lee, Vice President: Jay joined Centana in 2015. His portfolio involvement includes Beacon, Ease, True Link, and Vena. Prior to joining Centana, Jay worked in investment banking at FT Partners where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and private capital raises for software and financial technology businesses. Jay received a BBA in finance and BA in economics cum laude from the University of Notre Dame.
